Declined Hiding some players chat

I wondered if this sort of command /ignore (like in some skial servers) could be used to hide certain players chat if its inappropriate but not punishable, instead of turning off chat completely since people you know from the server can't speak to you through chat it would have to be directly through steam or vc and can become a huge hassle. Where as creating a system such as the /ignore can make the game more enjoyable instead of receiving toxic or inappropriate remarks or comments, even if its not directed at the player, the whole server can see it.
