To be honest, I'm liking the recent forum activity even if it is a dumpster fire.

While I do believe blu requires some form of way to deal with rebels more optimally, a flat 1.5x damage buff is way too extreme I feel keeping the damage buff but reducing it to somewhere around 1.25 would be a good idea

1.25x and guards still one-shot with scattergun and rocket launcher for example.


Also still don't understand what the fuck bhop has to do with 1.5x and how bhop favours red side. Brainless points being brought up like:

"Reds get a boost when shot in the back."
And you guys are saying this comes at no cost? They will have less hp and even if they get to the ammo pack before you, you will still have the advantage because they have to reload. And you know where they're gonna come from.

You know who gets a massive boost at no cost, and don't even have to build the boost up. Rocket-jumping BLU soldiers and demos. Hell even the detonator gives a good boost for pyro. And even if you do use the self damaging variant for these weapons you will still have more HP left than light classes on RED with their base HP currently.

"A red running and a blue chasing them is a win for red."
That's part of the game. Situational advantages, they are even part of the main game too. You are saying REDs shouldn't even be able create their own advantages. And it's not even like all REDs are in a discord call together working like a professional comp team to escape. These advantages won't be used 9 times out of 10.

Bhop and 1.5x being related? Positioning and raw-damage stats are 2 very different things.
BLUs have an advantage with positioning with bhop. And in most combat situations you're not bhopping you are fighting, and in these situations BLUs AGAIN get the advantage with 1.5x.

And don't bring up new players or a game not being full as a counter-argument. A game(mode) should never be balanced around new players but instead around those who put the time in to understand it, and around the game being full.

Votes for major changes to the server such as these are usually polled through Discord, not the forums. The forum vote did not seem to sway way more in favor of one side than the other throughout the polling. In any case, the managers have decided that they will not be planning to remove guard bonus damage at this time, and at the end of the day, their decision supersedes all others besides the owners.

Then why have suggestions in the forums in the first place?

Removals, that is what this suggestion is. You guys keep bringing up bullshit excuses, the votes being split indicates that there is something not right and a change needs to be made. Instead you lead your community on into thinking they can actually vote for something, but nah u let one manager decide and ignore what the votes say.
