While I haven't moderated any TF2 communities/servers, I have had some experience as a moderator for a Minecraft server that I used to run for my friends/classmates. It was mostly a RP server that wouldn't get above 30 active players. We eventually abandoned it because people got bored of playing it.

Why would you like to become a moderator?
I’ve been rather active on the Jailbreak server ever since mid August 2020 when I first joined. Since then, I’ve developed strong bonds with the server and its community and I’d be glad to help in any way I can to ensure a healthy game experience.

Cheating:
Record a demo as evidence if unsure, then proceed to show it to other staff to make a decision.
If the suspect is making it obvious that they are cheating, they get permanently banned.

Advertising cheats/other malicious software:
Permanent gag and/or mute.

Being offensive / Using racial slurs / harassing someone on a personal level:
1st time: Polite warning
2nd time: Warn them again
3rd time: Gag/Mute for 1 hour
4th time: Gag/Mute for 4 hours
5th time: Gag/Mute for 8 hours
6th time: Gag/Mute for 1 day
7th time: Gag/Mute for 1 week
8th time: Gag/Mute for 1 month
In the case of more than 8 attempts, permanent Gag/Mute

Chat spam, Voice chat spam done with the intent to troll / overtalk the Warden
1st time: Polite warning
2nd time: Warn them again

NSFW Sprays:
Warn the owner of the spray by telling them to spray it on a surface that cannot display sprays.
If they persist to spray it in places where anyone can see it intentionally, issue a spray ban.

AFK:
If someone is AFK for an extended time period they get moved to spectator.

Camping the armory as both teams:
Warn + Slay them.
If they persist, slay them until they stop doing it.

Delaying (last guard, LR specific delay such as Saxton Hale not killing reds):
Add a beacon to the delayer so people can find him more easily.
If the player is stuck, teleport them to the place they were before getting stuck.

Revealing the identity of other staff without their permission:
1st time: Warn
2nd time: Gag/Mute for 1 hour
Further attempts: Gag/Mute for 2 hours





Punishments that apply only to the BLU team (Guards + Warden)

Joining BLU without using/owning a microphone:
Teamban.
If they eventually decide to use/get a microphone, remove the Teamban.

Using commands such as !w (when the round starts) and !uw
1st time: Warn and slay
2nd time: Teamban for 1 hour
3rd time: Teamban for 2 hours
4th time: Teamban for 8 hours
5th time: Teamban for 12 hours
6th time: Teamban for 1 day
7th time: Teamban for 1 week
8th time: Teamban for 1 month

Freekill / Teamkill / Favouritism:

Is there any other information you would like us to know about?
I've been playing Jailbreak in TF2 ever since I started playing the game. I've never before considered moderating for a Jailbreak server however, leaving me to wander around different communities just to play the gamemode. I eventually took a big 2 year break from the game back in 2018 but I am back now and more active than ever. I'll also try to work on my profanity, since I admit to being a bit edgy at times.

I would have to commend you for the punishment ladder. I can't find anything bad to say about it.

However you did have a recent commblock for racism so do update that.

I've found that your chatlogs are extremely disturbing when it comes to using 'gay' as a derogatory term and to insult a player. There is a lot of toxicity and player disrespect. I would recommend you to be more respectful and cautious when it comes to chatting.

To end off, everything seems to be good in your application. Maybe just improve your chatlogs. If not for the applications, at least for basic human respect. Good luck!
