So me and my dad are selling our canal boat to get a new weekend holiday vehicle.
We thought that we would buy a car and convert it to be a cheaper version of a motorhome.

What we need is all the equipment that you would bring on a long camping trip:
.A gas stove
.Storage for food and water
.A place to sleep
The car will need:
.Good mpg
.decent power and handling
.Good quality
.A lot of space

For example cars
Mercedes ML350 or A Citroen Xsara picasso
Any other cars what you guys may think will be cable of conversion?

Boi. Get a toyota hilux.

Best pickup truck ever. It's mpg is lacking but you can get a used one in good shape for a pretty low price. It has tons of space, can do well while off-roading. Being a pickup, it has tons of room for luggage and good horsepower.

Oh and toyota = good quality.
