Pretty standard reasons why. It's boring and the merasmus "boss fight" is pretty buggy.

Also not to bring up the "think of the children" point, but I feel it's a bit wrong to have a map with a porn room that people like to camp in when a significant part of the playerbase in deathrun is kids. Just a thought.
