- Have you been an admin before and where?
Yes, I was admin on a community similar to this called ExP Network, sadly it has now since shut down. I was one of the admins whose role was to moderate JB servers. (https://steamcommunity.com/groups/expnetwork This is the link to the community)
- What servers are you primarily applying for?
I am applying for the position of administrator on mainly the Jailbreak EU (although I am willing to moderate any JB servers, TX, LA etc) and Deathrun servers. However, I understand the rules on all the servers and am willing to moderate them whether be in the EU or US.
- Which admins (if any) do you know?
ImpossibleZ, 8BitKitsune(acquaintance), Death (Adam, I’m not aware what his name is right now)
- Are you familiar with the admin role and commands? ie - what is expected of you
The servers I had previously administrated had the same plugin and sourcemod commands. Since then I am aware there have been updates, although I have attempted to familiarise myself with these new commands. If given the role of admin, I will strive to learn new commands/techniques to add to my roster of moderating skills.
As administrator, I am aware of the responsibilities I have to undertake and the punishments I have to exercise towards rule breakers. I have a good understanding, that to be admin, one must be upholding high levels of maturity and “cool head” during heated verbal engagements, whether be on server or forums.
I believe I fit into the aforementioned criteria, and I possess further traits that are desirable for administrator.
- Why would you be a good addition to the servers as an administrator?
I believe I would be a credible asset to the Flux.tf administrator team. The following is a simple breakdown of why I believe so:
I have held the position of administrator on another Team Fortress 2 server, very much like Flux.tf. Thus, I believe I am correctly equipped to handle the tasks of an admin. Moreover, my ease of learning, combined with my experience, are all useful features to be admin.
I am currently very much up to date with the recent changes to the rules. As I am a donor, I aim to enforce these rules fairly and politely to fellow players with my donor commands. If given administrator, I will be able to enforce rules to a full extent, in turn striving to make Flux.tf a friendly community, with no toxicity.
I attempt to be approachable by all players, especially those who require assistance as they are new.
My maturity is outlined by my lack of spam or other irrelevant chat entrances, I firmly believe I know when to be “fun” and when to be “serious”, although I believe it is possible to be both.
- Give us a brief rundown of punishments you'd give out to users breaking different rules.
General abuse of the rules of server will result in a warning (unless serious offence) followed by 1-hour gag/mute/silence/ban followed
Inappropriate use of chat/mic-Warning - 1-hour gag/mute - 1-day gag/mute - 5-day gag/mute -Permanent gag/mute
Intentional Freekill- Slay 1-hourTeamBan - 1-day TeamBan - 1-week TeamBan - Permanent TeamBan
Intentional Mass-Freekill- Slay & 1-day TeamBan - 1-week TeamBan - Permanent TeamBan
No Microphone on Blu Team- Permanent TeamBan (unless player proves otherwise)
Hacking- Instantaneous permanent ban with a demo proving said hacking.
Illegal FF- Slay & 1-day TeamBan - 1-week TeamBan - Permanent TeamBan
Donor Abuse- Warn & Record demo and report to higher authorities
Disrespect/Racism/General Toxic Behaviour- Warn - 1-day Mute/Gag/Silence - 1-week Mute/Gag/Silence - Permanent Mute/Gag/Silence
These are only mere “guidelines”. The punishments may vary depending on the circumstances and the context of said situation. I believe I have the correct judgement to understand and to perform correct punishments when required
- Anything else you'd like to add - maybe a bit about yourself, ie - interests, hobbies, education, etc etc
ahah no doxxing here, nothing to see move along
