Declined Admin Application

Central Time Zone (CST), I am unable to play Monday-Thursday, but am able to be on most of the day during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, unless there is a change in my schedule.

- Have you been an admin before and where?
I have been an administrator on a few MC servers, however I got very little experience on them, considering the servers ended up shutting down soon after. I have also been (and still am) admin on multiple Discord servers.

- What servers are you primarily applying for?
I am mainly applying for the Jailbreak servers, however, chances are I won't be appearing on anything other than Jailbreak.

- Which administrators (if any) do you know?
Kat, Mr., Jampoint, Mafioso, Gre, Impossible. These are not all the administrators I have played with.

- Are you familiar with the admin role and commands? ie - what is expected of you
I am familiar with (meaning memorized) most of the simple rule-enforcing commands, such as mute, gag, teamban, kick, ban, etc., though I strive to learn more of them. I am familiar with the role of an administrator, and what is expected of me as one (maturity, following the rules, not abusing power for my own interest, etc.).

- Why would you be a good addition to the servers as an administrator?
I feel very obliged to remind people of the rules, and being an administrator would allow me to enforce them, especially on servers where few people and/or admins are on. I also feel I would be a good addition because I usually don't see other administrators doing mic checks very often, whilst I try to make sure other people on BLU have mics despite the fact I'm not an administrator, and being an administrator would allow me to punish those who don't listen to the rules. I also tend to know the rules better than most regular players.

- Give us a brief rundown of punishments you'd give out to users breaking different rules.
General Rules - 1st Time, Warning; 2nd Time, Depends
Mic/Chat Spam - 1st Time, Warning; 2nd Time, Mute/Gag 30 mins; 3rd Time, Mute/Gag Two Hours
Freehit/Freekill - 1st Time, Warning; 2nd Time, Slay/30 min Guard Ban; 3rd Time, 72 hr Guard Ban
Mass Freehit/Freekill - 1st Time, 4 hr Guard Ban; 2nd Time, ~ Month Guard Ban
Ghosting/Delaying Round/Favoritism/Unwardening/Forcing Warden - 1st Time, Warning; 2nd Time, Depends
Denying DR/LR - 1st Time, Warning; 2nd Time, 1 hr Guard Ban

- Anything else you'd like to add - maybe a bit about yourself, ie - interests, hobbies, education, etc etc
I am currently in 8th grade, and surpass all but three of my peers in math (we're in geometry), and most others in spelling. I will almost always be able to be on forums/Discord, unless I am without internet. I'm able to solve three different sizes of Rubik's Cubes currently, if that matters for anything. I tend to be a pretty chill guy when people listen to the rules.

This is offset by the fact that you asked me to review your app and write something, if you want to demonstrate that youre going to be a good admin, have some patience. We will probably look into your app sooner or later, we cant dedicate our lives to being full-time Flux admins (except @Kat0150 ), so just work on your patience and you should be golden. As of this post, im staying neutral leaning to a +1.

Looking at your chat logs I see 3 things; One good, one neutral, and one not so good.

The good is I see is that you try to help enforce rules (notably asking people not to overtalk). ✓

The neutral I see is you love complaining about how loud and annoying ads are. This isn't horrible but you mention it often enough that I need to point it out. ✓

The negative I see is that I notice you tell people to use their mic sometimes. I do not know the context behind this nor do I know if you have donor powers but you cannot force people do respond to you because you ask; nor can you attempt to punish those that don't. It is solely the job of an admin to ensure people have a mic on blue. If someone goes warden and doesn't give orders or anything that's a different story because they are refusing to be warden, in that case you would be allowed to say or do something. ✓

Moving on, I do not know you in game therefore I cannot speak towards your behavior but only give you advice. Being 13 I understand your voice may or may not be having a stroke constantly. It happens to me too sometimes, it can happen to 10 year olds and it can happen to 17 year olds, I get it. If your voice is in the range where people would consider you a "squeaker" please be mindful that other players may not respect you as they would other admins. There are certain boundaries in which you can blame/punish them for this but you should be aware.

Baring someone says you are actually an awful person in game, +1.

Thanks for the feedback. The only times I remember ever complaining about the ads was when I didn't know how to turn them off (which was a while back), and whenever I tried to turn them off it didn't work. Again, thank you for the +1.

This seems like a pretty good application, but with the sort of drama that could unwind here, I'm staying at neutral for now.

Edit: I am mostly leaning towards a +1, because any of the -1's here aren't really big deals, but until we get more admins on this thread other than Jim, don't be certain that it will stay that way.
