- Specify your timezone and rough playtimes~

GMT (UK, UTC + 0) I have a good, normal schedule including;
Monday-Thurs: 16:30-23:00
Friday: 16:30-02:00
Saturday: 10:00-01:00
Sunday: 09:00-23:00
I will usually be available at these times, so feel free to shoot me any question regarding the app.

- Have you been an admin before and where?

I have been admin in a multitude of game servers and communities ranging from Steam Raffle Groups, Minecraft Servers and Source Games. All experience was from a few years back (maybe 2012-2013) so it’s hard to back up any evidence.

However, I can say I have had experience owning servers such as a trade server in TF2 which had a good run, but ended up closing (financial issues.) I hope I can bring branding aspects to the server through good suggestions and can offer opinions on possible ideas for the server. Overall, I can say I have had plenty of staff experience

- What servers are you primarily applying for?

I am primarily applying for the EU Jailbreak server as it has always been a gamemode on TF2 I have always enjoyed to play (both on BLU and RED), and also due to its extensive rules compared to other servers such as cp_orange, I feel like I can bring to the table a better knowledge than an average player.

I also understand and will patrol other servers (including the US Jailbreak servers) and to make sure to answer reports to remove games being less fun.

- Which admins (if any) do you know?

Zblock, HipsterMelon, Kat, Jampoint and ImpossibleZ.
I would say I am familiar with a few of these admins, you're all good.

- Are you familiar with the admin role and commands? ie - what is expected of you

I have played source games for an extremely long time, and I can say I know a lot about console commands including commands related to administrative roles. Due to experience of hosting servers, I am also experienced with configuring servers such as adding plugins and debugging parts where you may need a fresh look. I understand the SourceMod commands needed to effectively create a good environment for players to enjoy the server, and willing to learn new ones.

- Why would you be a good addition to the servers as an administrator?

I am extremely active on the flux.tf servers (racking up 146 hours in total) meaning I could have a lot more time in patrolling the servers, meaning there would be less rulebreakers in the community. I am approachable and friendly so I’m happy to answer any questions or deal with negative behaviour, but understand the line of immaturity.

I understand how to keep and maintain a healthy environment for players, and know what to do when a server (mainly jailbreak) can get chaotic, including micspammers, rulebreakers and others in general. I either tackle each one individually by telling everyone to settle down, and then sort out the rulebreakers from the blind reports.

I can promise not to discriminate or act on grudges against players, and will give non-biased rules to players to have a fair experience. I am willing to suggest ideas and use good leadership skills to make sure I use my powers to keep a good playerbase by trying to make rulebreakers understand the rules, and to make them feel welcome to the community. Reforming over bans.

- Give us a brief rundown of punishments you'd give out to users breaking different rules.

Freekilling: Verbal warning (refer them to the rules)/ 2day Team Ban/ Permanent Team Ban

Massfreekilling: Permanent Team Ban

Accidental (mass)freekill: Stay open-minded, refer them to the rules. Help them get into the gamemode.

Illegal Friendly Fire: Verbal warning(refer to rules) / 3day Team Ban

Text -Spamming: Verbal warning / 30 minutes / 2 hours / 12 hours

Mic-Spamming: Verbal warning / 30 minutes / 2 hours / 6 hours

Donor abuse:
Verbal warning(refer to rules / explain what donor abuse is). If it carries on, report to higher admins/owner (with evidence.)

(edited)
Rage-hacking: Permanent Ban from the server, subject to ban appeals.
Legit-hacking: Gather and review evidence, discuss with other admins.

I understand different communities, servers and people have different sets of morales, and I am willing to change these punishments if advised (whether they are to be made more lenient, or stricter.) When I give punishments for mass-freekilling, I regard it as if they are purposely ruining the gamemode to either make people upset or for reactions. Any player accidently shooting a group of players or someone not understanding the gamemode and I am more than happy to tell them what they have done, and to give them proper advice.

- Anything else you'd like to add - maybe a bit about yourself, ie - interests, hobbies, education, etc etc

I am living in the UK, and currently have finished with my GCSE’s and am moving on to do an impressive apprenticeship, where I will be working with cybersecurity and other computer-related things. I hope to bring a few of what I know to help with the server as it would pair with my knowledge of creating servers for games.

I really enjoy graphic designing and video editing as well as trying to get into creating music, but I dropped all these as I ended up feeling like I didn’t improve enough to get along with them, but I did enjoy doing it.

I usually play first-person shooters such as CS:GO and TF2, as well as other games such as Rust. I’m usually open to games so feel free to suggest some. I have alot of spare time and need something to fill that in, and I’ve seen a few of you forum regulars in-game and you all seem pretty chill. Thanks for reading the app and feel free to ask any questions! ^^

This is a very impressive application and you are pretty active in-game, on the forums, and on Discord. This would be a definite +1 from me, however I do have one concern. A couple of times that I have seen you on the servers, you were maybe a bit hostile towards other players (nothing too major, but not the most welcoming either) which causes me to stay neutral, however I would be more than happy to change this accordingly if I do see a change in your behaviour. Thanks for applying and good luck!

Edit: Some of the punishments are not quite right and things like hackers, etc. are excluded from the list, but nothing that cannot be learned/fixed.

Thanks, and fixed Kat. I have been hostile in the past, and I'm not going to repeat some of these mistakes.

I understand I repeat myself, but I want to make sure I have answered all questions separately and fully. I'm willing to give any possible links needed in a private message, but I wanted to keep the application clear and neat, so it won't be spammed with website links and the such. I'm willing to change punishments to fit the servers morale, and thank you both ^^

I've seen you in the servers and discord. I can say that you are a polite and approachable person.

Your application is well written with few mistakes. However, your application is slightly boring due to repetition.

I rarely see you try to enforce rules, but you claim to have past experience as an admin, which somewhat reassures me that you are responsible.

You are also quite new to the server and forums, which suggests you haven't settled in yet.

Thanks for commenting Oli, as I said before I wanted to answer each answer seperately and as fully as possible. I usually enforce rules when it's absolutely needed but I don't enjoy backseat moderating since there are already staff members to do that job. I hope to say I've settled in as a regular as I come on every day to play some games including highertower, jailbreak and cp_orange and I've made a few friends which is why I ended up donating to the server. I hope my hours could prove somewhat that I've settled in, but I hope to see a few more of you in-game. That'd be nice. :]

I feel as if Tyler is a good candidate for an administrator position. On the occasions I have played with him, he has always acted in a mature manner and never caused disrespect to fellow players when playing. As outlined in his application, he aims to "reform" rather than "ban", evident from the sparse use of donator perks. (Although I believe he uses them whence necessary).

Therefore, I believe the aforementioned reasons would qualify him as a useful administrator on Flux.tf. +1

I really do not know. Can you please explain this caution on Harpoon Gaming? Caution Appeal
And is this a second account of yours? If so, why is it VAC banned? And if it isn't, why is it marked as an alt account of yours in Steam Rep? Account
And there is an accepted report against you. Report
And here's an accepted admin application you made 4 months ago on a different community. Application
And another accepted admin application. Application 2
And your scamming appeal. Appeal
And a permanent ban: Ban

I'm giving a -1 until all of this is explained.

Big thick -1

You should have dealt with your steamrep issues before even considering an app and failing to mention it on your app tells me you are trying to mislead us to get admin.

Big thick -1

You should have dealt with your steamrep issues before even considering an app and failing to mention it on your app tells me you are trying to mislead us to get admin.

This is one of those things that seem really and completely irrelavent to me, especially the ALT. I was originally banned for asking for rep, as I had seen a few people do it (as annoying as it may be), to decorate my profile. I realized then it had got me in some trouble and was banned for asking for fake rep. If I had done this now, it would have been ok as the rules have changed since back then, which was from April 25, 2015. It is a mistake that happened more than 2 years ago, and I would change things if I had the chance to. I have appealed for a caution as I realized how badly this was affecting me regarding servers, so I got it down to a caution around a year and a half ago. As I'm going back into TF2, I'd like to trade and so I am now currently appealing for my caution to be reduced to nil. It's all a stupid mistake for fake rep I did when I was immature, and I understand how you could think I was trying to mislead into making me admin. I didn't bring it up because it happened to long ago it didn't occur to me, and as you see from my appeals, it wasn't a big thing to me at all, and I still don't think it is. I understand people may use fake rep to make them seem more legit, I completely understand. I have never had any reports of using this fake rep to scam people also during my 576 days period of where I was placed in caution.

Regarding the ALT accounts, they are completely irrelavent. I was extremely high in CS:GO, whereas I had smurf accounts (accounts to play with lower ranked players for fun or to play with friends). I had around 2-3 of these if I'm going to be honest. The VAC bans are of course from cheating in CS:GO and TF2, I'm not going to sugar coat that, however it was all done without affecting anyone online. It was all done in a "hvh" (hack v hack) setting which I thought was really interesting how it all worked at the time. I understand it could be seen as seperate TF2 accounts to hide stuff with, but I have little hours in TF2 in all of them, with a high amount of hours in CS:GO to prove my point. These ALT's are purely for fun, and nothing to do with my ban.

I completely understand your point, but all the information is in the links Jampoint has provided. None of this will have any impact on how I will administrate servers if given the role, and I understand the idea of associating me with big-time scammers trading from account to account, but please read it through and know this is not the case. I hope this explains any clearance to do with the ban, and I'm more than happy to answer any questions. Thank you both for the concern.

Regardless, you should have mentioned all of this. You saying it's not big is irrelevant and biased. Any kind of steamrep tag is extremely important especially if your appeal hasn't been dealt with yet. Your word on you being changed and how this "won't impact how you admin" is completely discredited to me at least. I appreciate the explanation but my vote stays at -1.

I understand. However, I was saying that I felt like it wasn't big, not that it wasn't. I'm currently waiting on a response for it all to be cleared, and there was no need to me to change in the first place as it was just a mistake that I will never repeat in the future, not unless you count that as a change.
I should have mentioned the ban, but as I said before, something that wasn't big to me that occured longer than 2 years ago wouldn't have come up to me straight away regarding the admin application. I just wanted to make sure that no matter what shady misdemeanors people do, it'll end up with a ban. I just wanted to say I never have taken any item using any sort of trick, and that it shouldn't be associated with the same people who are banned for stealing a $90 unusual. Regardless, I should have mentioned it and I completely understand where you're coming from, I just want to use this time to completely clear all doubt regarding the ban.

You still haven't explained all of the accepted admin applications and the ban against you(which the reason is for a hack). My -1 stays.

I thought it was all for the scamming. I've got no clue why they're being brought up, but I can explain the background of them all if that's what you are asking??

NexusRP was a darkrp server I used to play alot in 2016 when I was into Darkrp, and decided to want to help out with the server by applying for admin. With Retronix, I had an accepted administrator app where I had administrated a CS:GO bhop-enabled casual server which I administrated till it shut down for financial reasons. It had plans to backup but I'm not sure where they went.

Regarding that perma ban, I've got no clue what that is. I'm not even sure what game it is for to be honest or what my ban reason is. If you could elaborate the context I'd be happy to explain.
(edit)
It has my old TF2 clan tag in, so I'm sure it's for TF2, but I've got no clue what it is. Sorry. I want to emphasize that ban happened around 3 and a half years ago.
