There's a certain section within Jailbreak Rules that's slightly confusing.

"Breaking vents or walls that lead DIRECTLY to armory counts as rebelling."

I wouldn't usually be concerned but there are those set of people who enjoy being really picky about how things are worded and find loopholes to delay the game, so the way I think it's said is that simply HITTING the vents/walls is rebelling, but the way I've been told is that you must fully break them. I think for new players it should be made a bit more clear.

I know it seems like I'm being a bit picky, but it was really confusing when I used this in a situation and then was told the complete opposite. A rephrasing such as "Destroying vents or walls that lead DIRECTLY to armory counts as rebelling." would make it all the more clearer. Thanks for reading/considering. ^^

Yeah but with Jailbreak, everything has to be made with as less confusion as possible and this rule is phrased differently to what it means, it's one of those things that's positive and with small effort that you might as well do it, I'd just like to get it noticed and see if someone is interested enough to do anything, you know?

The word 'breaking' is present participle. Hitting a vent continuously will break it, therefore hitting it once counts as breaking. So if a red wants to be cheeky and hit a vent but not break it, feel free to burn their ass off.

I've always heard "Breaking breakables is kos"
so I guess if you want to go with a strict interpretation, you can go with what Oli said, but we all already know people will say "I didn't fully break it" or say it wasn't them then complain about freekill, but isn't that always what happens in jailbreak? :haha:

I am thinking to make a new rubric concerning Jailbreak, or add a few things to it.
Mainly for players, please make a suggestion thread suggesting what rules we should add.

Jim and I have been saying for about the past month that we should redo the jailbreak rules, but no one else seemed to agree every time we brought it up :haha:

I fully agree with what Oli said yet I was worried out the outcome as alot of people were complaining about freekill, and since I was outnumbered I doubted myself a bit. I don't think we should scrap the jailbreak rules however I do think we need to go over each one and see if there is a loophole or anything that could be confusing and add some where grey areas are.

I think we should rewrite them completely. We could use the current ones for reference or something, but there are a lot of rules that many people are unhappy with, lots that aren't clear enough, and lots that are left out completely rather it be prohibiting or allowing something, it has no mention of it, but that's just how I feel about the situation. I feel that all of the jailbreak admins should review and discuss the rules and make mutual decisions about them rather than one person writing the entire thing and having only one person review them.

Personally, I find all rules completely fine and would be happy for the admins just to expand a bit more on each rule to prevent loopholes or grey areas.
