- Age: 13.
- Steam name + ID: (Both the name and the STEAM_0:xxxxx)
I change my name very frequently! Most times it settles on gold, though.
STEAM_0:0:198922836

- Specify your timezone and rough playtimes.
My timezone is CST.
On weekdays, I am usually able to be on from around 3:00 pm to 9:00pm.
On weekends, I am usually able to be on for the entirety of the day.
If I can't make it to the time I usually can, I will be sure to notify other admins so they can fill in for me.

- Have you been an admin before and where?
I've been a moderator on an insecure Counter-Strike: Global Offensive server. They were running SourceMod like most other servers. A plus to helping moderate this server was knowing how cheating looks. Since the servers changed their name so often, I have forgotten the name. If I can find them again, I will be sure to link their steam group.

- What servers are you primarily applying for?
I'm primarily applying for Jailbreak servers in the US, but I can still go onto EU Jailbreak servers if needed!

- Which admins (if any) do you know?
The administrators that I do know are Mafioso, ImpossibleZ, and Adam.
They are the administrators that I feel I have interacted with the most. I could probably add more, but they would probably say they don't know me.

- Are you familiar with the admin role and commands? ie - what is expected of you
Yes, I know most if not all of the requirements for being a good administrator. As an admin, you are expected to be an active user in the community. I believe that I have met this requirement, as I am active in both discord and the forums. Another requirement is to be able to respect and be approachable to all users. You also need to be able to make decisions on your own and be the role model for other users to follow. The final and possibly most important characteristic of good admins is that they do not crack under pressure.

I would say I have an understanding of most of the commands that will be used for administration in the event that I am chosen to be an admin. I'm sure, however, that other admins can fill me in on the commands I do not know.
Some of the commands I don't know are stuff like teambanning and other tools for administrating jailbreak, as I have no experience with moderating these type of servers.

- Why would you be a good addition to the servers as an administrator?
I think I fit into most of the roles of an administrator that I have listed. I am active, don't crack under pressure and am respectful to most players. I try my best to be friendly to new players in game. As a donor, I feel as though I enforced the rules well. I also have very few communication restrictions and bans. I enjoy this community and am willing to invest lots of time to improve the quality of the servers.

- Give us a brief rundown of punishments you'd give out to users breaking different rules.
I feel as though permanent banning players is excessive (with an exception to those who hack.) I am strongly against handing out permanent server bans when only a mute, teamban, or temporary ban is neccessary.
If you need me to change my ideology, I can.
For punishments, I will list both the punishment and my reasoning behind the severity of the punishment.
Spamming (both mic and text chat): First time: 30 minute mute/gag and a warning of the punishments that will happen if they do it again. Second time: 1440 minute mute/gag. Third time: 1 week mute/gag. My reasoning behind the severity of the punishments here is that mic and text chat are both very vital to the gameplay of jailbreak. If one or both of them are useless for communication, jailbreak is no longer being played the correct way.
-
No Mic on Blu: Permanent teamban which will be removed when they use a mic.
-
Freekill: First time: Slay and a warning for the punishment if they continue. Second time: Slay and 60 minute teamban. Third time: 1 week teamban and slay. My reasoning for the severity of my freekill punishments is that rounds that were going fine can be ruined by 1 mistake or malicious player. I feel as though, however,
that freekilling is pardonable, which is why I have not included a permanent teamban as a punishment.
-
Mass Freekill: First time: Slay and 1440 minute team ban. Second time: 1 week teamban. Third time: Permanent teamban. There's almost no way to accidentally mass freekill, which is why this punishment ramps up if you do it more than once. My definition for mass freekilling is killing 3 or more non-rebelling reds.
-
Player Disrespect: First time: Warning. Second time: 30 minute mute/gag. Third time: 60 minute mute/gag. Fourth time: 1440 minute mute/gag. The punishments for player disrespect are not very severe, until the last one. I feel as though if you ignore warnings 3 times, you completely deserve a day teamban. I feel like these punishments fit well.
-
Hacking: First time: Record evidence and permanent ban. My reasoning here should be obvious. There is no way to hack without malicious intent.
While there are certainly more rules that can be broken, those are the most common or important rules to enforce.
- Anything else you'd like to add - maybe a bit about yourself, ie - interests, hobbies, education, etc etc
Outside of TF2, I don't have many hobbies. I have an amount of hours I'm not exactly proud of on Geometry Dash. I also infrequently upload bad memes onto YouTube. School is fine, I predict that it will not be a problem that affects the amount of time I can spend moderating.

Thanks for reading through my application, I hope to see you all on flux!

Positives
Knowledge of rules
Knowledge of commands
Was admin once
Is mature

Neutral
I don't see you too much on flux.tf but it seems you are active. Can't give a put in it though

Negatives
Second time applying
I think some of the punishments are extreme example First time: Slay and a warning for freekill, Mass Freekill: First time: Slay and 1440 minute team ban
(Although I understand the mass freekill it could've been a accident.) and Player disrespect Second time: 30 minute mute/gag. I would do a 15 minute.

Either way i'm going Neutral as we don't see eachother on flux too often.
Good luck!

So.. which one then?
Aren't they both two different things?

I think some of the punishments are extreme example First time: Slay and a warning for freekill, Mass Freekill: First time: Slay and 1440 minute team ban
(Although I understand the mass freekill it could've been a accident.) and Player disrespect Second time: 30 minute mute/gag. I would do a 15 minute.
Isn't it standard to slay yourself after a freekill?
Like stated in the application, Mass Freekilling is very hard to accidentally do. I think it makes the most sense to not let a player who has accidentally mass freekilled onto blu, anyways, as they probably don't understand how the game works and may do it again on accident.
I feel like anything under 30 minutes won't make much of a difference towards a player with the intent of annoying or harassing other players.
And to address the part about not seeing each other often, it's probably issues with timezones.
Thanks for your reply!

I feel newer admins need to be more willing to hand out the necessary punishments adn because of this I dont think you would fit into the admin role very well.

Hi Watson! After careful review of your application, we have decided to decline your application. While we appreciate the clear time and effort that went into writing this, as well as your prior experience as a CS:GO administrator, it didn't quite reach the standards we are looking for. However, we hope you'll continue to play with us on Flux, and wish you better luck for your next application. Thanks!
